A little tot she...
A little tot, with her button nose and chubby cheeks caught my eye in the bus today. Her light frame swayed to the jerks and brakes of the crowded bus. But she was too busy. Too busy with her eyes, which were sliding fast all over, gliding over every side her ears picked up a noise. A "hey", whistles, horn, taps, somebody's loud laugh, she missed nothing. Curling her fists in air, she tried grabbing something in her hand for herself. Restless much; trying to soak it all she was so excited in her mom's hold. Her roving eyes and its twinkle; that zest and eagerness she was dripping with, I recognized that. Back then, when love arrived I wasn't any different!
